Local Firemen Holding Food Drive and Toy Drive

280558_thumb  GLOUCESTER CITY NJ-The Gloucester City Fireman’s Mutual Benevolent Association (FMBA 51 & 251) and the Dog House Sports Pub on King Street, thank you so much to all who donated to, and supported our “Camping for Canned Goods” program two weeks ago.

Our canned good drive, which is still going on, provided our local food bank with a few more weeks of food for our citizens during a time when our shelves become drastically depleted. Please continue to support our canned good drive effort by stopping by Fire Headquarters, 1 North King Street, Gloucester City, any time, night or day to drop off your donations.

Our staff will gladly meet you at your vehicle and carry the goods into the firehouse. You may call before you come, 856-456-0231, or just stop by.

We would also like to take this opportunity to announce the start of our Toys for Tots program. As we have in years past, Fire Headquarters will be working in conjunction with Gloucester City Images-20 High Schools’ outreach program to provide toys and clothing for those in need.

Please stop by the fire house with your new, unwrapped toy to be distributed in our City. Last year we were able to provide gifts for more than 20 families.

Again, thank you so much for supporting for our canned good drive and hope to see you at Fire Headquarters dropping off canned goods and toys soon!
