Letters: Thank You Mickie Glassman We Appreciate Your Hard Work
Friday, December 24, 2010
Dear Mr. Cleary, 12/24/10
I would like to thank Mickie Glassman for all of her hard work to make The Gloucester City's Polar Express Christmas a beautiful and fun night for my entire family. I know she worked so hard decorating the former Comcast building for Santa with trains, wrapped presents under the tree, and even had her son make the fireplace in which the stockings were hung.
She also was the one who set up the trolley ride and had her other son set up the Polar Express movie on the building for the children to watch. Cookies were sitting by Santa for children to snack on while they waited for Santa to be in their picture.
I'm not sure how she wasn't mentioned in the Gloucester City News and I realize that everyone can not be mentioned who helped out, but I do find it sad that the one person who was willing to do so much wasn't named. It's hard to find anyone who wants to volunteer their free time and when they go unnoticed it may turn them away next time help is needed. So Good Job to everyone who put the time in to make the celebration a success! I hope the next celebration Mickie will be apart of because this one was the most memorable!!!
Thank you for your time. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Sincerely, A Gloucester City Resident
