Marianne M. Davila, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Gloucester City, GHS Alumni Class of 1975
Suddenly, On November 17, 2010. (nee McGlinchey) Age 53. Of San Antonio, Texas. Formerly of Gloucester City. Beloved Daughter of the late Joseph J. McGlinchey and Katherine V. (nee Brennan). Loving Wife of Antonio S. “Tony” Davila. Cherished mother of Anthony M. Davila and U.S. Army SPC. Eric D. Davila, who served two tours in Iraq. Loving Sister of Kathy Lombardo, Marge Fowler, Jimmy McGlinchey, Thomas C. McGlinchey, Joanne Rodgers, Michael McGlinchey and Franny McGlinchey. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Marianne was a graduate of Gloucester City High School Class of 1975.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her viewing on Monday morning from 9 am to 11 am at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, (at Brown Street) Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 am at Saint Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Cremation is private. Inurnment with her parents in New Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. There is no evening viewing.

JOST, Jean S. On November 29, 2010, of Gloucester City, NJ, age 82 yrs. She is the beloved wife for 57 yrs. of Walter W. Jost, loving mother of William W. Johnson Sr. and wife Debbie, Barry N. Jost and wife Christa and the late Walter W. Jost and cherished grandmother of Frances, William, Jr., Christopher, Barry, Steven, Danielle, James, Jimmy, David and Robert and great grandmother of Jazmine, Aurora, Charles, Christian, Mason, Aidan, Nadia and Cole.
Mrs. Jost was one of the original founders of the Cub Scouts in Gloucester, starting Pack #165 in 1964 and has remained involved ever since. She also served as District Commissioner for both Boy Scout Troop #138 and Cub Scout Pack #165. Mrs. Jost was also very active in the First Baptist Church of Gloucester, where she taught in the Sunday School and sang in the Choir. She was also a member of the Community Choir of Gloucester.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Gloucester, Monmouth and Sussex Sts., Gloucester. Funeral services will be celebrated 11:00 AM in the Church. Interment to follow in the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle NJ Veterans Mem. Cemetery, Arneytown. There will be no evening viewing. Mrs. Charlotte P. Ritchie of Gloucester City, 35 Grandchildren and 32 Great-Grandchildren; Long time resident of Gloucester Towne, member of Gloucester Senior Citizens
RITCHIE, Charlotte P. On December 1, 2010, (nee Griffith) of Gloucester City,
NJ, age 89. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas and loving mother of Thomas (Catherine), Maryann Land, Charles( Jean), Patricia Parker (James Jr.) Michael (Jill), David (Margaret), Joseph, Vincent, Theresa, William, Catherine Haas (John), and John (Nancy). She is the dear sister of James Griffith, Carrie Gartland (Bob), Rose Griffith, Ella Mae Schmelia, and Bella Jane Griffith. She is also survived by her 35 dear grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Ritchie had been a long time resident of Gloucester Towne and a member of the Gloucester City Senior Citizens. She loved going on bus trips with the Seniors and traveling with her family.
