A new campaign is aimed at raising firefighter awareness to the dangers of carbon monoxide. By Ed Ballam - Firehouse.com News The silent killer for the fire service is carbon monoxide and the IAFF and the IAFC, have launched an educational campaign to raise awareness of its dangers. Two deer in rut are fighting a battle over territory when some hunters out in the field bird hunting come upon the two combatants on a frozen lake with their horns locked together. December 24, 2010 Philadelphia, December 23, 2010- Mayor Nutter signed a new bill which increases the penalty for merchants who illegally sell tobacco to youth from $100 to $250. The new bill also provides Municipal Courts discretion to assess a minimum fine of $300 to a maximum of $2,000 for merchants who default on the original $250 fine. The $30 million, 110,000 square foot facility will be located in the City’s Southport Development area on 9.5 acres at the end of Water Street and the Delaware River. Corey Ankum and Edward Stringer were among a dozen firefighters putting out a blaze in an abandoned building at daybreak today when suddenly the roof gave way.
