LETTERS: Hit and Run Driver; Sunset Wine Tasting/Sail Event a Success
Wednesday, October 06, 2010
THIS IS FOR YOU!
To the person that hit my grandson’s parked car on Klemm and Rosalind Avenues between 1 and 2 p.m. on September 23, this is for you!
Obviously you do not have a conscience or you would not have driven away without leaving a note or name. How can someone do this, only you and God know what you have done.
Thank goodness he was not in the car or he would have been hurt. I hope you think about this and own up to it. How would you like someone to do this to you. I hope it never does happen, but think about it, it could. Maybe someone saw what you did and they will have a conscience and tell someone.

THANK YOU
The 2nd Annual Sunset Wine Tasting/Sail Event was a resounding success!
The Non-profit Gloucester City Sail Corporation is grateful to the nearly 100 neighbors and friends who turned out to taste sixty types of wines and thirty beers under the 120 square foot tent on September 17th, thank you!
The attendees also enjoyed a one-hour river sail on the GCS Schooner “North Wind.”
We are especially thankful to local businesses which contributed to our success.
First, Canal’s Liquor Store of Pennsauken provided the seven expert dealers.
Our other supporters were: DNE Worldpack, Shop-Rite, of Brooklawn, Heim’s Pure Foods, Troxie’s Pizza, Philadelphia Soft Pretzels, O’Donnell’s Catering, the Dole Corporation and Maxum Expo Services.
Finally, kudos to our Board and Associates for the long weeks of preparation work.
Jack Hughes and Gary Marcucci,
Co-Chairman, GCSTYWINE
