WILDNEWJERSEY.TV PHOTO CONTEST FOCUSES ON NEW JERSEY NATURE AND WILDLIFE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
State’s only daily nature and wildlife blog seeks photos of wildlife and nature from across the state to spotlight New Jersey’s natural beauty

September 14, 2010 – The state’s only daily nature blog, WildNewJersey.tv, has launched a statewide photo contest to spotlight nature, wildlife and scenery in the Garden State. The contest runs through November 30, 2010.

“Though our reputation is not always the greatest, New Jersey is a state with more biodiversity and wildlife habitats than anywhere else its size in America,” says Jillian Weislo, manager of WildNewJersey.tv.  “This photo contest seeks eye-catching photos that can capture the Garden State’s spectacular range of beautiful scenery and charismatic wildlife.”

Prizes will be awarded in four categories: Wildlife, Nature and Scenery, People in Nature, and a Juniors category for photographers under 18 years of age. All photographs must be taken in New Jersey, and up to five entries can be submitted per person.  Prizes include gift certificates for iTunes and WildNewJersey.tv merchandise.

Entries can be emailed to [email protected] or uploaded via the webpage:
