Former president of motorcycle club shot at by group

 - Washington Greene PA News -
The former president of a Pagans motorcycle club told state police that a group of men on motorcycles pulled up in front of his home about midnight Wednesday and opened fire.

Gary Alan Hirschi of 62 Terrace Road, Fredericktown, East Bethlehem Township, was inside his home when the motorcycles pulled up.

"He heard the shots, ran out of his home with his gun and fired back," said state Trooper Sarah Teagarden. "Then, he got into his pickup truck and went after them. He exchanged gunfire at two other locations."

Hirschi told Teagarden that he had been president of the motorcycle club. But after he was assaulted during an incident last September at the lodge, Hirschi said he had no contact with the organization. Hirschi said he suffered a large gash on his head in the assault.
