As 'brownouts' start, firefighters continue opposition

Shirley Harrum, Life member of Brooklawn Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, Longtime Brooklawn Resident

On August 1, 2010. Age 80. (nee Irwin) Of Brooklawn. Loving wife of 48 years to the late Roger W. Harrum. Loving mother of George (Joyce) Harrum, Joan (late Thomas) Cuomo, John (Ani) Harrum, Judy Harrum and Nancy (Paul) Shrader. Loving grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 10. Dear sister of the late John Irwin.

Born in Springfield, IL, Shirley and her family have resided in Brooklawn for the past 45 years. She was a life member of the Brooklawn Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Brooklawn American Legion Post 72 Ladies Auxiliary. Shirley was a member of the Brooklawn United Methodist Church.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her viewing on Thursday evening from 6 to 7:30 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Methodist funeral service officiated by Pastor Daniel Amey of the Brooklawn United Methodist Church will begin at 7:30 PM in the funeral home. Cremation and Inurnment with her late husband will be private at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
