Del Monte will set up at a Gloucester City Marine Terminal facility overseen by Holt Logistics Inc., one of two private port operators that recently competed for the Coral Gables, Fla.-based company with offers of cheaper labor, according to a port official.

Holt also runs the Packer Avenue Terminal in South Philadelphia.

The produce giant will leave its 22-year home at the Broadway Terminal, operated by the South Jersey Port Corp., a quasi-state agency. But Executive Director Joseph Balzano said Del Monte will still honor a $1.4 million a year annual lease that expires in 2019.
