Stella Cowgill, of Gloucester City Grandmother of 29, Great Grandmother of 37 and Great Great Grandmother of 9

On June 5, 2010, (nee Sheeler) of Gloucester City, NJ, age 97. She is the beloved wife of the late George S. Cowgill, loving mother of Howard (Jan) Cowgill and Sue (Lloyd) Lunemann and the late George, Joseph and Bill (Pat) Cowgill. She is also survived by her dear daughters in law Joan and Mary Cowgill, and was the cherished grandmother of 29, great grandmother of 37 and great great grandmother of 9.

Mrs. Cowgill was a long time resident of Gloucester City, and was active in the Gloucester City Senior Citizens Club and the Townsend C. Young VFW Post #3620 Ladies Auxiliary.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and again Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers her family has requested memorial donations in Stella’s name be made to the Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association 300 Harper Drive, Moorestown, NJ 08057 (www.etheringtonfh.com)
