$200 Cash Stolen from Manager's Office at Gorman Manor, Gloucester City Police Investigating

- On 05/14 at 0941 the management at Carpenter’s Square/Gorman Manor reported that sometime overnight unknown person(s) entered into the office and stole over $200 in cash. There were so signs of forced entry.
- On 05/14 at 1406 an officer observed an argument on Broadway and Mercer Street. William Ferrell, Sr. (58) of the 400 block of Middlesex Street was arrested for simple assault after the officer observed him punch a female in the head.
- On 05/14 at 2011 officers responded to Springdale Drive for a residential alarm. Upon arrival they observed a window screen damaged and an unlocked rear door. Sgt. Burkhardt had K-9 Eich conduct a search of the interior of the residence, however, no one was found on location. It is unknown if anything is missing as the homeowner was on vacation.
- On 05/15 at 0021 a 17 year old Mantua resident and a 17 year old Gloucester City resident were both charged with curfew violations after being observed in the area of Broadway and Hunter Street. They were turned over to their parents.
- On 05/15 at 1132 a resident of Baynes Ave reported that sometime overnight unknown person(s) removed two (2) 8 foot tall Maple Trees from the east side of his residence.
- On 05/15 at 1439 officers responded to the 900 block of Jersey Ave for a disturbance. It was learned that two sisters were fighting over hair gel. One of the sisters, Patricia Rough (age 20) continued to yell and was causing a disturbance in front of the residence. She refused to calm down and was advised she was under arrest. She then back into her residence and locked the door. Officers forcibly entered into the residence and placed her under arrest for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She was charged and released.
- On 05/15 at 2232 officers responded to Burlington and Middlesex Streets for a fight. A 13 year old female, 17 year old male, and Yasmin Burgos (19) of the 200 block of Morris Street were all charged with simple assault after assaulting a male who had confronted them about stealing his cellular phone.
- On 05/16 at 0313 an officer observed two males on the side of D’Place on Route 130. One of the males was urinating on the building. Jose Roman, Jr. (28) of Pennsauken was charged with Urinating in Public and released on scene.
- On 05/17 at 0848 an officer responded to 7th Street for a suspicious vehicle. As the officer was arriving, dispatch advised that the tag number given came back to a stolen vehicle. As the officer pulled behind the vehicle, the male seated in the driver’s seat exited and began to run. A brief foot pursuit ensued and the suspect, a 16 year old Pennsville resident, was apprehended. He was charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Resisting Arrest, and Defiant Trespass.
- On 05/18 at 1813 Edward Angelini (39) of Mantua, was charged with Panhandling after being observed asking for money from patrons of the Sunoco and various people in the area. Mr. Angelini was telling people he needed to catch the bus to visit his sick grandmother in Philadelphia, however, his vehicle was parked in the lot of Gloucester Liquors. He was charged and released.
- On 05/18 at 1952 Jimmy Ricks (22) of Collingswood was arrested and charged with Obstruction of Justice after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation and refusing to provide officers with his name. He was re-arrested after being released from Police Headquarters after trying to start a fight with the arresting officers. He was then charged with Disorderly Conduct.
- On 05/19 at 1055 officers responded to the 500 block of N. Johnson Blvd. for a residential burglary. The homeowner stated that sometime between 0900 and 1045 unknown person(s) entered the residence through a front window and stole various items from the residence. An investigation into the incident led to the arrest of Holly Middleton (24) of the 200 block of Cumberland Street. She was charged with Burglary and Theft and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.
- On 05/19 at 1826 a resident of Chatham Square reported that unknown person(s) entered into her apartment and stole several pieces of jewelry. It was learned that a male from Gloucester Terrace was asking several area residents if they wished to purchase a necklace. Detectives made contact with the male and arranged to purchase the item. The male, Joseph Guagliardo (30) of Gloucester Terrace was arrested without incident after trying to sell a stolen necklace to undercover officers. The necklace was identified by the victim of the burglary as belonging to her. Mr. Guagliardo was charged with Receiving Stolen Property and released.
- On 05/19 at 2037 an officer on foot patrol observed several males and a female seated behind Gloucester Towne apartments. Upon approaching the group, one of the males began to act nervously. The officer detected an odor of marijuana, and when questioned about this, the male began to run on foot. A foot pursuit ensued and the male, Anthony Pacheco (20) of Clementon, was arrested on King and Powell Streets. The bag he was holding was found to contain 29 bags of marijuana and 5 bags of cocaine packaged for sale. He was charged with Possession of CDS with the intent to Distribute and Resisting Arrest. A second male in the group, Zachary Woody (18) of the 200 block of Market Street, was found to be in possession of (1) 30 mg Oxycodone pill. He was charged with Possession of CDS.
Additionally, officers responded to 12 domestic violence incidents and 5 motor vehicle crashes.
THOSE CHARGED ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
