Dog-Friendly Fairs & Events
Spring has sprung! Soon, you’ll be seeing posts and articles about upcoming, dog friendly events! Here are a few for you to ‘chew on’ :
Camden County Animal Shelter in Blackwood: Offering their first pet festival, with vendors, guest speakers (including me, Dawn Watson), games, and lots of fun activities! The dates are May 22nd & 23rd from 12pm - 4pm.
Woofstock: Usually held in August at Lion’s
Fido Fest: October 9-10 at the Salem County Fairgrounds right off of Exit 4 on I-295 Woodstown,
Pet-a-Palooza: Sponsored by the Cumberland County S.P.C.A. and usually held sometime in October, this event generally has media coverage and is definitely worth the trip. As with all of the above-mentioned events well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome.
If you have any questions please contact me privately at 856-349-2508 or simply reply to this post. There is never a fee for phone or email consultations. You can also email me at Brotherofthewolf@comcast.net. I will be happy to help you.
Next week’s topic will be entitled: And Baby Makes Three: Preparing Fido for the New Baby. As always, Cleary’s notebook encourages dialogue so your comments are welcome!
