Dennis P. Cahill, of Bellmawr, formerly of Gloucester City; St. Mary School Alumni, Bellmawr Volunteer Fireman, Vietnam Navy Vet, Member of VFW Post 3620 & American Legion Post 135

He is the beloved father of William Cahill, Mark Romando, Peter Cahill, and the late Dennis Cahill, loving companion of Tina Hill and dear brother of John Cahill, Dolores Bangs and Paul Cahill. He is also survived by his dear grandchildren Seth, Denny, Alyssa, Destiny, Blair, great grandson Mason and many dear nieces and nephew.

Dennis proudly served his Country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Townsend C. Young VFW Post #3620 where he also served as the Service Officer and volunteered many times for Honor Guard Duty.Dennis was also a member of Gloucester City American Legion Post #135 and a retired member of the Bellmawr Park Fire Company.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the EHTERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 Noon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 426 Monmouth St. in Gloucester City. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers Dennis’ family would appreciate memorial donations be made to Townsend C. Young VFW Post #3620, 27 N. Burlington St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030. www.etheringtonfh.com
