William H. Gilfillan, Jr., age 61 of West Deptford, died on January 10 at Underwood Memorial Hospital, Woodbury surrounded by his loving family.
Formerly of Gloucester City, Gary graduated from Gloucester City High School with the Class of 1967 and the served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Gary was a proud member and officer of Steamfitters Local Union 420 of Philadelphia PA for 43 years. Gary will be remembered as a wonderful man who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Survived by a loving wife Carole of 35 years; dear father of Gary P Gilfillan, Scott (Carolyn) Baldwin and Matthew (Jennifer) Baldwin; dear brother of Kenneth Gilfillan and Jeannette (Ralph) Bartolomeo; son in law of Mary Griffith; beloved Poppi to Anna, Sarah, Eric and Ryan Baldwin; also survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Gary's viewing will be held Thursday evening 5:30 to 9:30 PM and Friday 8:30 to 10 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury where a Lifetime Tribute Service will be held on Friday at 10 AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's memory may be made to Make A Wish Foundation of NJ, 1034 Salem Road, Union, NJ 07083 or to the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, Southern Regional Center, 1301 N. Broad Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096
