Francis V. Molloy Sr., Youth Football and Baseball Coach, Texaco/Eagle Point Refinery Retiree

Francis V. Molloy, Sr., of West Deptford, died on December 23, 2009 at the 6a00d8341bf7d953ef0115724332f3970b-120wi age of 74. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Fran graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys. Fran was a very passionate man who strived to make those around him the very best they could be. Frank; as he was known to his co workers gave 30 years of service to Texaco/Coastal Eagle Point Refinery. He retired from there in1999.

Fran has resided in the West Deptford community for more than 40 years. During that time he has raised four sons and a daughter. He coached Youth Athletics in Football and Baseball from 1969 to 74 where he led several teams to the All Star Tournaments. Fran was also an insatiable fan of Philadelphia Sports Teams and lately enjoyed cheering on the Fightin' Phillies in their two recent runs in the Fall Classic.

Recently, Fran enjoyed his getaways to his home in Florida; where he would take in an occasional round of golf, updating and fixing something at his home or looking for a project to keep busy. Fran will be deeply missed by his family and friends who will endeavor to carry on his legacy.

Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Louis) and the late Maryann (nee Gorman), devoted and loving father of Fran, Jr. of West Deptford, Maryann Strong, and her husband Dr. Michael Strong of Moorestown Daniel, and his wife Lori, of West Deptford, Joseph, and his wife Kathy, of Mantua, and Eric, and his wife Cindy, of West Deptford. Loving grandfather ("Poppop") of Kristy and her husband Vaughn, Melissa and her husband Michael, Danielle and her husband Peter, Rachel, Erika, Franny, Laura, Jennifer, Lauren, Melissa, Sarah, Matthew and Eva. Proud great-grandfather to Jake, Gabrielle, Cole, Dylan and baby boy Gabriele to arrive in May. Dear brother of Joseph of Mantua, NJ, Joan DeCecco, and her husband Bob of Cape May Court House, and the late Charles (wife, Diane). Beloved son of the late Charles and the late Anna (nee O'Neill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday evening 6 to 9 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp. Family and friends will gather for Fran's Funeral Mass Tuesday 10 AM at Saint Anne R.C. Church, Route 130 and Woodbine Avenue, Westville. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 or to Saitn John of God Community Services, 1145 Delsea Drive, Westville, NJ 08093
