GLOUCESTER CITY NJ-Construction continues at the site of the newest TD Bank, located at Broadway and Cumberland Streets. It is scheduled to open later this year with a free, public celebration.

According to their website the new TD Bank store will provide commercial and retail customers with an inviting environment, friendly employees and an unparalleled level of service and convenience.

Customers will have access to a full range of products and services, seven days a week with extended hours.

TD Bank focuses on delivering legendary customer service by providing seven-day branch banking with extended hours, free Penny Arcade coin-counting machines, hassle-free products, free online banking and bill pay online.

The new bank will be open M-F, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On November 1, 2008, Commerce Bank and TD Banknorth stores throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Florida were branded TD Bank, which currently has 21 stores throughout Camden County. The bank is committed to continuing to grow and hire throughout the area.

TD is one of the only banks in the world to avoid write-downs due to the subprime mortgage market, and have a triple-A rating from Moody’s.

Following TD Bank Financial Group's acquisition of Commerce Bancorp Inc. on March 31, 2008, TD Banknorth and Commerce Bank merged on May 31, 2008, to become TD Bank.
