About the Author
Gloria Henkel Ritchie (photo) lived most of her life in Gloucester City a small city in New Jersey just across the river from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She and her husband, John, were high school sweethearts and have been married for forty years now. They have three daughters and seven grand- children.
Gloria is a graduate of Gloucester City High School, Class of 1966.
In her spare time, Ritchie enjoys reading, writing, and traveling. However, what she enjoys the most is spending time with her children and grandchildren.
John is the grandson of Ernest Ritchie who was mayor of Gloucester City many years ago.
