A BIG THANK YOU category Letters
On behalf of my family and myself, I’d like to thank the many businesses, organizations, and our wonderful family and friends for the benefit that was organized for me at the Brooklawn American Legion.
Not only was it a huge financial help, it was also a great time had by all. It was wonderful to see all of my family and so many of my friends. On that day I felt like George Bailey from “It’s a Wonderful Life!”
I’d like to give a very special thank you to the Sportsman Athletic Club, Rich Dolson (Dolson Family Catering), Pauli Printing, Kevin Young (DJ), Brooklawn American Legion, Camden County Emerald Society, Andrew Alley (Tummy Tee), Gloucester City PBA #40, Gloucester City Little League, Gloucester City Ponytail League, Bill Bustard (Bill Bustard Plumbing), Foundation Title, The Dog House, OH Hara’s Pub, Schileens Pub, Max’s Seafood Café, The Auld Dubliner, Healey Family (McCann-Healey Funeral Home), Vitale’s Italian Bistro, King of Pizza, Sal & Pat’s, Sunshine Flower Shop, Tia’s Hair Salon, Heavy’s on the Harbor, Gloucester City Liquor, Neunheuser’s Liquor Store, Gateway Diner, Dining Car Depot, Mike Kenny (Northern States Funding), Hollywood Café, Filomena’s Lakeview, Canals (Woodbury), Savona-Stavola Foods, Gateway Dinner, Charlie Brown’s, Ken MacAdam’s (Prudential Insurance) and Trieste Italian Restaurant (Norwood, PA).
I also want to thank everyone that donated their time, made gift baskets and other donations. I will thank you all individually as there are too many to list and I don’t want to forget anyone.
More than 38 years ago this City accepted me as a “transplant” from South Philadelphia. Seeing all of the friends I’ve made over the years reminds me of what a great town Gloucester City is and how proud I am to live in this great city. Many thanks.
