HUNTER EDUCATION COURSES SLATED FOR SUMMER

With sales of the 2009-10 license set to begin in mid-June, Pennsylvania Game Commission Executive Director Carl G. Roe is reminding all first-time license buyers to make plans to attend a Hunter-Trapper Education (HTE) course now. To register for a course in your area, visit the Game Commission’s website (www.pgc.state.pa.us), select the “Hunter Education Classes” icon in the center of the homepage, and then follow the instructions. With the support of thousands of volunteers, HTE courses are being held throughout the state. There is no fee for the basic HTE course. The NJ DEP Division of Fish and Wildlife's 2009 Marine Recreational Minimum Size, Possession Limits and Seasons Summary Card will not be available at local bait and tackle shops, marinas, sporting good stores, and marine supply stores until the third week of June. Gloucester City HS captures South Jersey crown

The NJ DEP Division of Fish and Wildlife's Skillful Angler Awards Program recognizes anglers who catch both freshwater and marine fish, which exceed a size threshold established for each species. Opposing Primary candidates of the present Gloucester City Mayor and Council submitted a petition today (Tuesday) to the City Clerk requesting a referendum be placed on the ballot to change the present form of government to a Council-Manager form of municipal government. Bellmawr Board of Ed Members Take Oath of Office

Jeff Brickner began a full, three-year term, after completing the unexpired term he had just served. Jamie Casey returned to begin another three-year term, and Tracy Shinkarow was sworn in to complete the balance of the term vacated by the passing of the late Betty Sheppard. Breaking News: Petition Submitted to Change Present form of City Government

By Bill Cleary To my surprise opposing Primary candidates of the present Gloucester City Mayor and Council submitted a petition today (Tuesday) to the City Clerk requesting a referendum be placed on the ballot to change the present form of government to a Council-Manager form of municipal government. Bellmawr: Two Car Accident, Injuries Reported

5-19-2009 8:10am 430 W. Browning Rd Bellmawr Camden County Police reported a 2 car accident in front of the Hyde Park Apartments this am. The SUV involved in the accident flipped over and landed on its side trapping the driver, Bellmawr Firefighters and Runnemede Firefighters operated to remove the roof to get the driver out. Bellmawr EMS and Virtua Paramedics transported the driver to the hospital. Bellmawr Police are investigating. Bow Hunters Offering Conservation Scholarship

The United Bow Hunters of NJ is offering a $1000 Wildlife Conservation Scholarship to a current UBNJ member or the son, daughter or spouse of a UBNJ current member. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in the field of Wildlife Conservation (or related field). The deadline for applying is May 31.
