On May 26, 2009. Age 79. Of Gloucester City. Devoted and loving husband of 49 years to the late Ruth J. Clements (nee Stauffer). Loving and caring father of David W. Clements of Lindenwold, Kathleen Clements of Shamong, Colleen M. Roque of Haddon Heights and the late John W. Clements. Predeceased by his two sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. William was born and raised in Gloucester City. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. William worked 30 years as a laborer for the Camden County Highway Dept. before retiring in 1990. He was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Gloucester City. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Saturday morning from 9 to 11 am at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, (at Brown Street) Gloucester City. Funeral service will take place in the funeral home beginning at 11 am officiated by Pastor Gary Brennan of the Westville United Methodist Church. Interment with military honors Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. Memorial donations may be made in William’s name to the Westville United Methodist Church: 14 Center Ave. Westville, NJ 08093.
