CONRAIL "TRASHES" GLOUCESTER CITY NJ
Friday, January 23, 2009
GLOUCESTER CITY: January 23, a CONRAIL train passes the rotten railroad
ties and trash that lines the railroad tracks along Johnson Blvd and
all of Klemm Avenue to Rt. 130. Workers for CONRAIL replaced the old ties with new ones two months ago. But the workers left the old ones thrown about along with empty tar buckets.
Bottom photo, rotten railroad ties along with empty tar buckets lay near the walkway into the Johnson Blvd. Recreation area.
