50 for the 50th!  The Gloucester City High School Class of 1958 celebrated its 50th Reunion the weekend of October 18-19, including a Saturday morning  breakfast and tour of the “old” high school, Saturday evening open house, and a Sunday evening banquet at Indian Springs Country Club in Marlton.  In addition, the members of the class commemorated their 50th, and their alma mater’s 100th, by contributing to two $1,000 scholarships awarded in June to Christopher Beck and Kristin Marchese, members of  the GHS 100th graduating class.  The Class of 1958 graduated with 99 members.  Twenty-two classmates are deceased and were remembered at the banquet.  Fifty of the remaining class members were present at the banquet.  Special guests included 12th grade teachers- Sally Wagenhoffer Ruane (English) from Charlottesville, VA and Tom Brooks (Democracy).  A commemorative program was given to each person present, and a 50th DVD will be shared with all classmates.
