NEWS, SPORTS, COMMENTARY, POLITICS for Gloucester City and the Surrounding Areas of South Jersey and Philadelphia Llanos, last year's Player of the Year for basketball, graduated from Salem in June.
While playing for Broward Community College, located in Florida, Llanos collapsed to her knees at a tournament game held that afternoon. After being revived by medics on scene, she died later that night in the hospital.
