JOHN CURTIS PRIEBS of Audubon Park, retired Letter Carrier

A Memorial gathering was held for John Curtis Priebs, 77, of Audubon Park who passed away on December 1, 2008.

Beloved husband of 55 years to Lillian R. Priebs (nee Lobo). Devoted father of Kathy (Michael) Andersch of Vineland, Melva (Pasquale) Romano, John C. (Mary) Priebs, Jr., James Priebs all of Audubon Park and the late Allen & the late Eric Priebs; father-in-law of Cheryl (Robert) Madonna of Petersburg; stepson of the late Marie Priebs; brother of the late Joan Aimino; also survived by 11 grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren.

A graduate of Collingswood High School, John served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. Mr. Priebs was an electrician at the Phila Navy Yard before working as a letter carrier for 30 years, serving Camden, Oaklyn & Collingswood. John retired in 1986 enjoying sports, fishing and visiting Civil War historic sites.

Inurnment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
