Pennsylvania Officer Struck, Killed on Highway


WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa -- A crash involving two trucks on Interstate 70 in Washington County has killed two people, and one of the victims is a South Strabane Township police officer.

The accident happened shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Bentleyville exit.

According to a news release from PennDOT, I-70 westbound is closed before exit 32. Traffic is being detoured via Route 43. Motorists are urged to use alternative routes.
