MANTUA — It's a cold economy for many, and local energy assistance directors expect people will feel it in the physical sense, as they are unable to pay for heat and energy, and need aid this fall and winter. Advertisement
The season for state energy assistance started Nov. 1 and runs until April 30. Gloucester County kicked off the start Monday afternoon when some 45 seniors applied during an information session at the Mantua municipal building.
