Hailing from Brooklawn, NJ, the Broken Shillelaghs are a 5-piece Irish musical group featuring acoustic guitar, mandolin, bass, accordion, tin-whistle, and precussion. We started out with 2 of us on acoustic guitars as musical accompaniment for Gloucester City Pub Crawls. As we continued on, the demand increased for an Irish band so we added our 2nd guitarist and precussionist. As the years passed, we added bass and accordion. We play often at Oh! Hara's and Doc & Joe's Tavern in Gloucester City, Casey's On 3rd in North Wildwood, and Harper's Pub in Clementon and we also do various parties, festivals, and charity benefits including several AOH functions.
