Chester, PA – The Lions of the eighth-ranked Lions of The College of New Jersey posted
a 14-5 win over Widener University on Wednesday as the senior right fielder Matt Barrett (Pennington, NJ/Hopewell Valley),
drove in five runs and added a pair of homeruns in the contest. TCNJ
improves to 27-6, while Widener drops to 22-11.
On the mound,
junior Dan Ramos-Dominko (Hampton,
NJ/North Hunterdon) earned the win after seven innings of work, yielding
just two runs off six hits and fanning seven batters. Ramos-Dominko improves to
3-2 and now has 42 strikeouts on the season, which is second highest on the
team this spring.
