Tom Duffy, Retired Sheet Metal Mechanic and Local Union 19 member for 42 Years

Thomas F. Duffy, of Deptford, passed away on December 23, 2007 at the age of 78.

Tom, whose nickname was 'Goodyear',  was a simple and hardworking man and will be remembered for his good hearted and outgoing ways. He was generous, loved to party and spend time with his family and friends. In his spare time he enjoyed going to the casinos, traveling to Las Vegas, and rooting for Notre Dame.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Tom was a resident of Deptford for 50 years and a long time parishioner of Most Holy Redeemer Parish.  Prior to retiring in 1991, Tom was a sheet metal mechanic and a member of the Local Union 19 in Philadelphia, PA for 42 years.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Anna P. (nee McCall); devoted father of Thomas (Helen), Michael, Patricia (Jerry) Thomas, Robert (Linda), Barbara Jean Hogan, Kevin, Patrick (Karen); loving son of Marion A. (nee Devine) and the late Thomas; dear brother of Elizabeth Dukes, Daniel Duffy, James Duffy and the late Joan McClain and Dolores; Loving grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 1. Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, 6:30-9 PM and Saturday, 10:30-11:15 AM at Holy Redeemer Church, 1219 Delsea Drive, Westville, NJ 08093. Mass will follow at 11:30 AM at the Church. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John of God Community, 1145 Delsea Dr. Westville Grove, NJ 08093.
