Warm weather continues

Phillyweather.net-We will continue the trend of warmth in the Delaware Valley for the next 5 days. Sunshine and pleasant weather during the daytime hours will result in temperatures being above normal until Thursday. Rain and a pretty potent trough will end the party here in the middle parts of next week, resulting in a near twenty point temperature drop from Thursday to Friday. Putting it into perspective though, the average high temperature next Friday is 48 degrees so even though a twenty degree drop sounds drastic, it really is not that much colder than normal. Also, keep in mind that it will be December next week so we should be getting colder.
Today, expect sunshine and perhaps some high cirrus wafting through from time to time with temperatures in the 55-61 range, warmest of course along I-95. Tonight, with low dewpoints and 15 hours of darkness, temperatures should drop a fair amount most everywhere to around freezing except in the immediate cities.
Sunday might be the warmest day of the stretch. Temperature output from the computer models is aggressive for today, with temperatures in the mid to upper 60's in Philadelphia. Most of the region should get near 60 before the day is out tomorrow with the warm weather continuing through Thursday
