Weekend Weather Forecast
This weekend's weather will be cool compared to what we have experienced, with temperatures in the 50's for both Saturday and Sunday. Nothing arctic by any stretch but it is around normal. The early parts of next week will be relatively cool as well as the main impulse of cool air moves down from Canada. A coastal low may develop on Tuesday night and Wednesday to our south and move north towards us. This coastal low, should it develop, may be a stubborn storm and hang around whereever it develops for a few days, leading to coastal beach erosion and flooding, as well as a period of gloomy weather around Wednesday-Friday of next week.
One computer model (GFS) is suggesting that the storm sets up off of the Carolinas, keeping the impacts to our region minimal while another (EURO) keeps it further south. If the EURO plays out as correct, we may have temperatures around 60 on Turkey Day with sunshine. There's a lot of time to watch the details on this next storm and a couple of different ideas that are being kicked around by the computers.
Until we get there though, we have a near 60 degree day to enjoy that will feature, for once, sunshine!
