PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The BIG EAST Conference and ESPNU announced Saturday that the Nov. 25 football game between Rutgers and Syracuse will kickoff at noon with live national television coverage on ESPNU. The game marks the final home game for 20 Rutgers' seniors at Rutgers Stadium.
The game marks Rutgers' seventh appearance on the ESPN family of networks in 2006 and the eighth of nine national television appearances this season. The nine national television appearances are a single-season school record for the Scarlet Knights. The regular season finale on Dec. 2 at West Virginia will air live on ESPN.
The Scarlet Knights (9-1, 4-1 BIG EAST) are in a three-way tie for first place in the BIG EAST. Syracuse (4-7, 1-5) earned its first league win of the season Saturday with a 20-14 victory over Connecticut at the Carrier Dome.
