DOLORES SIMILA, WIFE OF FORMER CITY COUNCILMAN, DIES SUDDENLY

Dolores Simila, (nee Devine) wife of former Gloucester City Councilman Dolorestsimila Jack Simila passed away suddenly on November 16, 2006 at the age of 71. Jack and Dolores were married for 50 years. The couple were on a cruise when she passed away.

She is survived by five sons, Jack, Michael, Frank, Bill, Nick, and two daughters, Kathleen Tohanczyn, and Angela Moore. Grandmother of 18 and loving great-grandmother of 1. Sister of Edward Devine and Mary Jane Rabchuk.

Dolores was a member of St. Mary’s Church, and an avid boater.

Her viewing will be Tuesday from 8 am to 11:15 am at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 noon at Saint Mary’s R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Cremation will be private at the request of the family. There will be no evening viewing.

The family requests donations may be made in Dolores’ memory to: St. Mary’s School Tuition Fund
