Doris K. Shedland, Former Resident of Gloucester City
Age 82, of Lewes, DE, died Wednesday, November 15, 2006, in the comfort of her home, embraced by her loving daughters. Mrs. Shedland was born and raised in Gloucester City, NJ. She relocated to Lewes, DE in 1986. She was very active in the Lewes Presbyterian Church in Lewes, DE.
Mrs. Shedland is survived by 3 daughters, Deborah K. Lowe of Atco, N.J; Judith N. White of Westville, N.J. & Jenni A. Sweeten of Georgetown, DE; three grandchildren: Sarah Pekera, Fredericksburg, VA; Karolina Lowe, Atco,NJ; and James I. Sweeten, Georgetown, DE; two great granddaughters: Lillian Sweeten and Madison Pekera;Three Sisters, Alyce Casserley & husband Jim of Marco Island, FL; Carole Wilson & husband George of Mt. Ephraim, N.J. and Bettie Helen Englehart of Sewell, N.J; Three Brothers, Frank Keebler & wife Darline of Gloucester City, N.J; Edward Keebler & wife Pat of Doylestown, PA; and Thomas Keebler of New Jersey.
Funeral services will be held at Lewes Presbyterian Church, 133 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE at 2:00 PM Monday, November 20, 2006 , where friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Lewes Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163.
