PAULSBORO, NJ APRIL 6, 2017--At 5:40 a.m. today, officers of the Paulsboro Police department responding to a 9-1-1 call for an unconscious female at 61 Capital Street, Paulsboro found the body of Alesia Burns (DOB 8/22/61), who resided at that address.
The deceased woman was transported to Inspira Hospital, Woodbury where an autopsy was conducted by the Gloucester County Medical Examiner. The cause of death was found to be multiple stab wounds and the manner of death was homicide.
The Capital St. residence was occupied by one other adult and three juveniles at the time of the 911 call, made by the adult. There were no other injuries.
