PHILADELPHIA, PA (April 16, 2017)--Easter weekend 2017 in Philadelphia was already proving to be a bloody one before noon Sunday. At least 14 people were shot, two fatally, from 12:29 a.m. Saturday to 11 a.m. Sunday, police said.
A 24-year-old woman did not survive being shot once in the chest and once in the buttocks around 1:20 a.m. Sunday on the 3200 block of F Street in Kensington, police said. She was taken to Temple University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 1:50 a.m.Police did not immediately release her name or a possible motive or suspect in the case. Authorities said a small-caliber revolver was found at the shooting scene.
