Ready for the Real World” at School, in Health, in Life
(Camden CITY, NJ) -- Cooper University Health Care and the Cooper in Schools (CIS) Program invites school nurses, coaches, athletic trainers and school administrators to a continuing-education symposium, “Ready for the Real World,” on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Westin Mount Laurel, 555 Fellowship Road, Mount Laurel, NJ.
The symposium features Cooper physicians and clinicians addressing issues that affect a child’s physical and mental well-being. Topics include Updated in pediatric otolaryngology (ears, nose, throat), gender and youth today, asthma care, urgent cares versus emergency rooms – when to go where, Zika virus update, and social media, gaming and modern childhood – the good news and bad news.
New Jersey State Nurses Association contact hours will be provided to nurses. Registration is required. The cost is $45 in advance and $55 on the day of the event. A continental breakfast and lunch are included.
