MONTGOMERY, NJ – The Montgomery FunFest will be an afternoon of entertainment for everyone on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 12 noon until 5 p.m. Come on out to Princeton Airport for five hours of live music, fascinating food, planes and classic cars, helicopter rides, games for children and performances by local groups and student organizations. Attendees at FunFest can even end the day with a balloon ride!
With more than a hundred booths showcasing local businesses, art and crafts, culinary treats from local food vendors, games of chance, and inflatable rides and activities for children, the second annual community festival produced by the Montgomery Business Association is free to local residents and visitors alike.
“Our goal is to create a town tradition that local residents and visitors will remember and look forward to each year,” said FunFest chair Jean Robinson. “Last year’s FunFest enabled the Montgomery Business Association to award five $1,000 scholarships to Montgomery High School students and donate $2,500 to Crawford House.”
Two stages of live music will feature an array of local bands, including Good Works, Acoustic Road , The Shaxe, Fritz and the Cats, An Artistic Approach, Flip Daddy, and Lights Out. There will also be performances by the Montgomery High School band, local taekwondo clubs and dance school students.
Free parking is available at the Wall Street Office Park across the street from the Princeton Airport , first-come first-served. Parking is available for $5 in the grass on Airport Road . VIP parking may be pre-purchased online at the event website or at local businesses, including Tiger’s Tale, Gasior’s Furniture, Princeton Fitness & Wellness, UPS in Hillsborough, Volition Wellness Solutions, and First Constitution.
