Love-Selb to carry message of Less Spending, Lower Taxes and More Jobs
to voters across Gloucester County.
Today, Gloucester County Republican Chairman Kevin Murphy announced that Mantua resident Margie Love would be joining Ed Selb on the Republican ticket this November.
“Margie Love is an outstanding addition to the team,” stated Chairman Murphy. “Margie Love and Ed Selb have the energy, innovation and commitment to provide real solutions to the challenges facing Gloucester County families.”
Love, who works in Washington Township and runs a small business with her husband added, “It’s about affordability. County government continues to grow at a rate that residents simply just can’t afford. We need to re-prioritize county spending and make government smaller and more efficient.”
“All across the county families have ben forced to refocus and reprioritize their spending. Yet county government refuses to do the same,” stated Ed Selb, a former police officer who was recognized as Dare Officer of the Year. “Year after year we continue the cycle of borrow and spend, spend and borrow. The price we pay is higher taxes and fewer jobs as businesses leave the county in droves.”
Over the next several weeks the Love-Selb Team will be releasing their plans to cut county spending and lower taxes; to create new jobs in Gloucester County and to make county government more transparent and accountable to taxpayers.
