Gloucester City Police Department Press Release
On 05/25 at 1419 a motor vehicle stop on Johnson and Middlesex led to the arrest of Ashley Sanders (18) of Mantua and Eric Visitacion (27) of Westville. Sanders was found to be in possession of 9 bags of heroin, 2 Lorazepam pills and 1 hypodermic syringe. Visitacion was found to be in possession of 10 bags of heroin and a crack pipe. $490 was seized from Sanders.
On 05/26 at 1743 Tito Diaz, Jr (26) was arrested on Sussex and Cumberland Streets after chasing a female in the street. Diaz was charged with Disorderly Conduct.
On 05/26 at 1734 William Middleton (22) of the 200 block
On 05/26 at 2304 officers doing a property check on the 200 block of S. 3rd Street located Anna Walters (50) of the 800 block of Paul Street and Michael Degrecio (58) of Bellmawr, drinking alcohol inside of the property. Both were charged with Defiant Trespass.
On 05/26 at 1517 a resident of Ellis Street reported that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) punctured three tires on his vehicle.
On 05/28 at 1658 officers responded to the 500 block of Chambers Ave for an overdose. On arrival they located an unconscious female who had taken 20 -30 valium pills after drinking alcohol. The female was treated by EMS and medics. Heather Cristinzio (27) was charged with Being Under the Influence of CDS.
On 05/28 at 2032 officers responded to the Budget Inn for an overdose. They located an unconscious male lying naked in bed. The male was revived by EMS and medics and advised officers that he had picked up 2 girls who stole his vehicle when he lost consciousness. Michael Bradley (51) of Philadelphia was charged with Being Under the Influence of CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after officers located empty crack and heroin bags in the room.
On 05/29 at 1803 Richard Lawlor (36) of the 900 block of Somerset Street was arrested at Somerset and Johnson on an outstanding warrant. Lawlor was found to be in possession of 9 percocet pills. He was charged with Possession of CDS and released after posting bail.
On 05/30 at 0817 a resident of Princeton Ave reported that sometime overnight their 2004 Ford was stolen from the driveway of the residence.
On 05/30 at 1840 Jeffrey Laskey, Jr (22) of the 200 block of Market Street was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Broadway and Cumberland. Laskey was found to be in possession of 8 bags of heroin. He was charged with Possession of CDS and remanded to the Camden County Jail.
On 05/30 at 1930 George Hope (18) of the 300 block of Morris Street was arrested after an investigation led to him being charged with a burglary which occurred on 03/28/2012 on the 300 block of Middlesex Street. Hope was arrested walking on Broadway and found to be in possession of 1 sandwich bag of marijuana and 1 set of brass knuckles. He was charged with Burglary, Theft, Conspiracy, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of Marijuana before being remanded to the Camden County Jail. Also charged for the burglary were Michael Burgos (19) of Oaklyn and Alyssa Smierciak (18) of the 300 block of Middlesex Street. Both were charged with Burglary and Theft.
On 05/31 at 2020 Eduardo Colon (55) of Camden was arrested on Broadway and Cumberland. Colon was found to be in possession of 3 bags of heroin.
Additionally, officers responded to 9 domestic violence incidents, 4 motor vehicle accidents and made 36 arrests.
