On 05/07 at 2145 officers were advised by Camden PD that they located a victim of a carjacking on Broadway. The victim stated that he was stopped at the light on Broadway and Mercer when an unknown Hispanic male entered his vehicle from the passenger side. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and told him to drive. A female then entered the rear of the vehicle and the suspects forced the victim to drive to a location in Camden City. The suspects then robbed the victim of his wallet and car keys before fleeing the area on foot.

On 05/04 at 0025 a motor vehicle stop on Broadway and Market led to the arrest of Jonathon Corsey (29) of Westville. Corsey was arrested and charged with DWI and Refusal to Submit to Breath Tests.On 05/04 at 0936 a resident of the 300 block of 9th Street reported that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) entered their vehicle and stole a GPS unit and cell phone charger.
On 05/06 at 0729 officers responded to Gloucester City Liquors after a passer-by observed the front window broken. Unknown suspect(s) broke the window on the front door by throwing a brick. No entry was gained and nothing was reported missing.
On 05/07 at 0336 a motor vehicle accident on Park Ave led to the arrest of John Lynch (39) of Baetzel Ave. Lynch was charged with DWI. His blood alcohol content was .16%, above the legal limit of .08%.
On 05/07 at 1555 Daniel Ferry (36) of the unit block of N. Broadway was arrested on Broadway and Monmouth Street. Ferry was found to be in possession of 2 bags of heroin.
On 05/07 at 1733 Richard Brown (42) of the 400 block of Ridgeway Street was arrested on Ridgeway and Atlantic on an outstanding warrant. Brown was found to be in possession of 4 Alprazolam pills (generic Xanax) and 6 Oxycodone pills. Brown was charged with Possession of CDS and remanded to the Camden County Jail.
On 05/08 at 0359 officers responded to the Budget Inn for a male forcing entry into a room. Officers were advised that an employee was chasing the suspect onto Route 130. Officers then located the suspect by Universal Supply. The suspect then jumped a fence and began to run through the fields at Gloucester High School. A foot chase ensued and officers then located the suspect in a corner of the property. He again jumped a fence, but was quickly apprehended. Jeremiah Jackson (41) of Camden City was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass and Resisting Arrest.
On 05/08 at 1500 officers executed a search warrant at 124 N. King Street after an investigation into the distribution of narcotics from the residence. The target of the investigation, Lonzo Castaner (23) of Camden City, was arrested at the location. Castaner was found to be in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine and marijuana, as well as, $532.00. Castaner was charged with Possession of CDS with the Intent to Distribute and remanded to the Camden County Jail.
On 05/09 at 1355 James King, Sr (32) of the 200 block of Powell Street was arrested on the railroad tracks behind Independent Chemical. King was found to be in possession of 2 bags of heroin and 2 bags of crack cocaine. He was charged with Defiant Trespass and Possession of CDS.
Additionally, officers responded to 17 domestic violence incidents, 11 motor vehicle accidents, and made 22 arrests.
