The first American Legion World Series in its NEW official home sold a record-setting 86,162 tickets! ESPN3 covered the tournament for the first time, allowing people around the world to watch the games live. The Eden Prairie, Minn., team forced a 15th game on the last day and survived a 22-inning doubleheader to win the 2011 World Series. The Tupelo, Miss.,team held a 4-3 lead until the eighth inning of the final, but Eden Prairie claimed a 5-4 victory in the 13th inning.
