A woman was fatally stabbed Thursday evening (11/10) in what is believed to be a domestic violence incident at a home in the Birches section of Washington Township, Gloucester County NJ.
The woman, Kim Barnum, age 42, was pronounced dead at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Washington Township. She lived alone in a Birches home, where she was fatally wounded. A boyfriend, with whom she had a history of domestic violence, is being sought as a suspect in the stabbing. It is believed he left Barnum's home in a vehicle driven by his mother, who intended to take him to police. The man jumped out of the vehicle when it slowed down in Monroe Township, where a search is being conducted.
