NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Borough of Brooklawn on Thursday, september 29, 2011 at 10:00am for a 2011 Ram 5500 Chassis-St Reg Cab 60" C/A 4x4 or Equal.
Bid specifications may be obtained from Barbara Lewis, Borough Clerk, 301 Christiana Street, Brooklawn, NJ 08030. Bid documents may be picked up Monday thru Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. the Borough of Brooklawn reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part, and also to waive any informality in any bid or bids received.
Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name and address on the outside with "2011 Dump Truck" written on the outside. Said bids shall be addressed to Barbara Lewis, Borough Hall, 301 Christiana Street. Brooklawn, NJ 08030.
Bids must be accompanied by bid bond or a certified check payable to the Borough of Brooklawn for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid for the proposal. Bids are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1075, c127. The suppliers are also further notified that they must comply with P.L. 1977, Chapter 33. The suppliers are also required to submit a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and a Certificate of Insurance.

The Camden County Office of Community Development has prepared the FY 2011-12 Consolidated Plan for the expenditure of CDBG and HOME funds. Part of this Planning process requires the completion of an Environmental Review Record.
All of the following proposed activities have been determined to be Continued Relevance, Categorically Exculed and in turn Exempt from the Completion of a full Environmental Assessment.
Continued Relevance-There is no change to the original scope of the following proposed improvements.
Audubon senior center elevator - $36,200 Payment on bond for the installation elevator. Audubon Park, - $25,100 Continued improvements to old school facility now used day care.
Barrington - $33,700 - Continue street improvements t in Stoneybrook
Bellmawr - $47,400 - Continue repaving of Chalmers & Hampton Aves
Clementon - $18,000 - Continue improvements to senior activities center.
Collingswood - $53,800 - Continue to pay off bond on construction of Senior Center Gibbsboro - $18,500 - Continue to pay bond for solar panels at senior center
Lindenwold - $87,800 - Continue repaving Walnut Ave
Merchantville - $6,438 - Continue installation of curb cuts
Merchantville - $11,000 - Continue removal of barrier at senior center,
Mt Ephraim - $26,600 - Cont'd removal of barriers to old Fire House for use as senior center,
Pennsauken - $40,200 - Continue street, improvements along Pleasant Ave
Winslow Twp -- $$1,000 Continue improvements to senior center

Brooklawn - Removal of Barriers at the Boro Hall, Laurel Springs - Remove barriers at Cord Mansion (police station)
Winslow $4,000 - Install of directional & park sign,
Residential Rehab activities
County- wide HIP -CDBG & HOME funds - Health & Safety repairs to residential, owner occupied housing. Pennsauken- $85,000 - Light Up and Lend-a- minor home repairs
Mr. Fix-It - Minor Home repairs for income eligible seniors, Waterford Twp. - $34,600 s to tie-into public water system, Winslow Twp - $10,00 well capping to homeowners
HOME Projects -Wellwood Manor - $150,179 for rental rehabilitation building in Merchantville.
All the other funding used for projects that are administrative in nature and considered to be Exempt. Full listing of these projects are available in the Community Development Office.
None of the above proposed projects met the Statutory Checklist thresholds. No additional Environmental Review is required or will be conducted, or Request For Release of Funds submitted to HUD.
