There was a time when one could on hop a train in Woodbury and make his or her way to downtown Philadelphia or even New York City in December for a day of Christmas shopping. On a hot summer day, a southbound train with a connection or two would take beachbound passengers to Atlantic City, Sea Isle or Cape May. Although it's been decades since the track linking Camden to Glassboro provided passenger transit, that's set to change in the next decade when the proposed PATCO light rail expansion into Gloucester County starts up.
