VINCENT J. ECKERLE, age 97, former Bellmawr employee

    A Funeral Mass was held at Annunciation Church, Bellmawr, for Vincent J. Eckerle, 97, of Ocean City, formerly of Bellmawr, who died September 20, 2008.

    Mr. Eckerle was an avid boater and fisherman, who enjoyed crabbing, camping in his trailer and playing cards. He was formerly self employed as a paper hanger, was the Manager of Dick Crean Men's Apparel Store, worked at the Evening and Sunday Bulletin newspaper and retired from the Borough of Bellmawr.

    Beloved husband of the late Edna. Loving father of Doris E. Gallagher and the late Joan M. Schultz. Loving grandfather of Robert Schultz, Diane Shannon, Joanne Carroll, James Schultz, Dolores Kanavel, Linda Schultz, Johnny Schultz, Tommy Schultz, Terry Reedy, Kathleen Rushton, Jean Beeson, Elaine Gallagher, Joe Gallagher, and Andrew Gallagher. Great-grandfather of 31 and great-great-grandfather of 13. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

    Interment was in New Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
