Stephen Adamski Active With The Boy Scouts
And The Gloucester City Little League
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 28, for Stephen Adamski, 47, of Gloucester City who died suddenly on August 23, 2006. He was 47.
Mr. Adamski was very active as a Cub master and Scout master for Pack and Troop #165 in Gloucester City. Stephen was the first Eagle Scout of Saint Mary's Church and later Highland Park Church of God.
He worked as a painter 19 years for Robert Hicks Painting Company in Evesham Township. Stephen was a coach for the Gloucester City Little League.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years Sheila (nee Sims). Beloved son of Edward L. Adamski and Doris M. (nee Dickerson) of Gloucester City. Caring father of Michael C. Adamski and Patrick J. Adamski both at home in Gloucester City.
Dear brother of Edward L. Adamski, Jr. (Anna) of Gloucester City and Nancy Wilding of Gloucester City. Loving brother-in-law of MaryEllen Henderson (Bruce) of Gloucester City, Joseph C. Sims of Gloucester City and Edward Sims of Gloucester City. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A viewing will be held Sunday from 6 pm to 9 pm and Monday 9:30 am to 11 am at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Pastor Debra Conner of Highland Park Church of God in Gloucester City will officiate the religious service 11 am in the funeral home. Interment New St. Marys Cemetery, Bellmawr.
